Primark Haul

Made a little visit to Primark.
I needed some warm winter stuff like Jumpers ect but i couldn't really find any jumpers that i really liked and wanted.I need to find some...i only have two.

I have been looking at Christmas Candles in every shop i have been into which has a typical Christmas smell. I had found one in fenwicks which had the most amazing Christmas scent but i wasn't up to spending £7.50 on a candle that was half the size of a can of soup. I went into Primark and found this which has a very light christmassy smell. Its a 3 wick candle and is only £3.50.

I have such a struggle to find any rings that fit my fingers but i found this set of 6 in there for only £2. The set has a ring with a stud on it but i saw when i came out the shop i didn't have a stud on it. To be honest though i don't mind i didn't really like it.
I have no idea where any of my gloves have gone from last year but i thought i would by some new ones. These were only £2.50
I saw this in Zoella's recent Primark Haul video and reallllyyy wanted to get one. This was from the mens section of Primark, It's a blue, white and red fairisle print which i loveee. I went on the hunt for one of the plain bobble hats for when i dont want to wear such a loud print but there were only white ones left or horrible ones with bits of glitter in them, so im just going to get one from New Look. £3.00

I LOVE anything with Moustache's on and saw this and had to have it. Its just White with Black Moutache's allll over it. This was only £2.50

Basic Muppet Christmas wrapping Paper i got to wrap both my brothers presents in. This was only £1.
 Studded collars
I was looking for this shirt for absolutely ages in my size and finalllyyy found it today. I love it, Its very sheer and cream with Kolas all over it, Long Sleeves with studded Collars. This was only £12, which i didn't think was all that bad for a nice shirt.

Instead of a jumper i found a cardigan, I have a Green Hoodie from Primark that i absolutely love...i wear it farrr to much though and really needed something else to wear over the top of things. I found this cardigan, I don't know whether to call it a fairisle print...It reminds me of something my Grandpa and Grandad would have worn.  This was £14.
I also got a Black Snood which was £5 and a Pain white t-shirt which was £4. These were hard to photograph so i left them out.

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation || Review

For a while i have been using the Max Factor Smooth Effect foundation (which i have done a review on to see it click HERE) this worked really well but i have recently ran out of it. I went to Boots to try and find the same one but they didn't seem to have this in the store anywhere so i decided to give up and look for another one. Instead i found this foundation which is the Rimmel London Match Perfection foundation in 010 Light Porcelain. This also contains SPF 18.

£6.99 Boots.
'Traceless coverage foundation with advanced Smart-tone technology for perfectly flawless skin under any light. Enhanced with Sapphire Radiance for an illuminating glow. Lasts all day'

I have never used any of the Rimmel London Foundations until recently. I love this it blends into the skin really well and cover any imperfections slightly (by that i mean you still obviously need a concealer). The consistency isn't very thick which i liked the most, it is very light which makes it a alot easier to blend in. I also find that you don't need alot to cover your whole face maybe just 2/3 small pumps and that would be enough, I sometimes just use one pump of foundation and it covers really well. The foundation has a very light perfumed scent to it but not like a cheap horrible foundation smell. I have used this alot since i have bought it and i find it does stay on for along time.

17 Smoulder Gel Eyeliner || Review

'17 Smoulder Gel Eyeliner, Silky, Smooth and Smudge proof. 16 hour wear. All the precision of a liquid liner but with a softer, silkier finish. Includes mini brush for foolproof application. Layer up for a smouldering eye look or use as a base for eye shadow for ultimate intensity.'
£3.99 , 17, Boots
I have been looking at Gel eyeliners for a while and today decided to get one and try it out. Im not one for things like these im always aware of poking myself in the eye alot more than a normal eyeliner pen, plus them working. I was looking at the MUA one on and off and found this one in Boots, the Gel liner from MUA was £3 where as this was £3.99....for 99p more you get a more reasonable size. I have wanted to try the Maybelline Gel Liner but to begin with i wanted to start of with something like this and see how it works for me and then maybe purchase it.
This applies so smooth on your eyes plus it is very black which i really like, i love a very black eyeliner!
You would probably only want to use this if you are not rushing out anywhere as you would need to be quite precise for the lines you want.
I find that in this weather the colder air hurts/stings my eyes so i find that when i touch my eyes my eyeliner seems to be slightly smudged onto my fingers, this surprisingly doesn't do it which i really like.

What i dont like about this product is that it doesn't stay perfect all day, i find that it starts to flake away and that ends up all around your eyes. The product does last on your eyes though it just doesn't stay perfect so you would need to touch it up when possible. The other thing i dont like is the size of the brush, its just absolutely useless.

If you want to try a Gel Liner i advice something cheaper like this first before you buy something like the Maybelline Gel Liner. I know its only £7.99 but if you have never used it before i do advise it, plus this may not stay perfect all day but it is still a good product.

How to make your own Wonka Sweets!

Sometimes i think its only me and my brother who remember these but when Charlie and the Chocolate factory came out in the UK in.....2005 i think. They brought out a selection of 3/4 sweets/chocolate, i know there was a small Wonka bar and a packet of chocolate covered sweets, which were actually Jelly Tots covered in Chocolate.
Anyway the other day... Sunday to be precise they were showing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory on Channel 5, i was telling my youngest brother about the Wonka sweets you could get, he was only 2 when they came out so he wouldn't of been able remember them. We then decided to make them, there the most easiest thing to make in the world.

 STEPS:
1. To make these ones you will want Jelly Tots, I would advise looking in the Christmas isles for the tubes of these, i had such a struggle trying to find the small packets. You also want a bar of chocolate, I used Galaxy and oh my they were yummy mixed together. (If your in a different county reading this and want to make them i advise you to buy any small gummy sweets and a bar of chocolate). I got both of these things from Tesco for £1 each.
On my second lot i used Cadburys Chocolate.
2. To begin with you want to melt the whole bar, If you buy the tube then yes you will need a whole bar trust me. I put the chocolate into the Microwave for 30seconds so the chocolate melted completely.
DONT DO IT ANYMORE AS IT WILL BURN.
(Like it did for me on my second lot)

3. This step it is up to you how you do it, there is probably an easy alternative to it. I used cocktail sticks and put them into the sweet and dipped the sweet completely into the chocolate. Any easy way you could probably do it (which im going to consider next time) is to put the sweets into a separate bowl and then pour the chocolate into the same bowl and mix together. I would use a spoon to take the sweets out.
4. Next you want to leave the sweets on a plate, make sure you separate the sweets so they dont dry stuck together. Then place them into the fridge and leave them for a couple of hours until there completely dry.
5.Eat away...there so yummy.

Christmas feeling already....

I know its only mid September but im already starting to feel christmassy apart from the weird weather. There are Christmas Chocolate isles in Tesco, Advent Calenders out and a whole section in The Range dedicated to Christmas decorations and lighting. Im tooooo excited i just want to get the tree up, wrap presents, decorate and watch Christmas films in oversized woolly jumpers. As soon as Halloween has been and gone i know its not long until Christmas.
Had to be included National Lampoon Christmas Vacation is my absolute favourite Christmas film, i look forward to watching it every year.
I have always LOVED the vintage, country looking Christmas decorations you can get and make your self, this year it is the style i plan to go for. Ive always been inspired by the Christmas cooking programs for decorations. I have a list of Christmas Craft ideas i want to do on my computer such as Bunting, Christmas Cards and Gift tags and decorations in general. Im almost tempted to starting making everything now so its all ready to put up in December.

I was looking through Etsy for some Halloween ideas that i could make and do for my brother. My family isn't a fan of Halloween at all but i always want to make sure i can do something for my younger brother, for example dress him up and have some edible gory looking foods for him to eat. I found this was a great place to look for Inspiration for all events such as weddings, Halloween, Birthdays ect, plus if you haven't got time to make the things you find but want them up you can buy them. From Looking at Etsy it has given me alot of inspiration for Christmas things such as the Vintage looking Christmas Cards and Christmas tags. It has so much Christmas stuff to buy and get inspiration from on there...its like heaven for someone who likes crafts or anything like that.
My Grandma got me into crafts/card making around 3/4 years ago now,she always makes the best cards, Pop up cards with little mice illustrations dressed up like humans at Christmas and Cards inspired by the Snowman and Father Christmas films. This time last year we moved into our new house so there was alot of mess and boxes around so we couldn't really have anything up and i was the one who had to force my family to go out and buy the Christmas tree. This year I want to do Christmas,I want to be the one to decorate everything in a very vintage Christmas style. I want to have help from my Grandma to make some really nice Vintage Christmas cards and tags.
You know it Christmas when you see this on TV.
I will definitely be doing some Christmas Craft posts closer to Christmas, Im far to excited to start making everything. I will hopefully be doing some Halloween Craft posts so look out for them. I would like to let you know though by the app on my iPod* it is exactly.....
* Im not a sad person who has an app to tell her how long it is until Christmas it countdowns to any certain date you type in on the app to tell you how many days it is.

Rimmel London- Stay Matte Pressed Powder || Review

(Accidental smashed powdered powder with brand new non broken one :))
Rimmel London- Stay Matte Pressed Powder- Shade: 001-Transparent
Natural shine control with Natural Minerals.
Up to 5 hours Natural shine control with natural minerals. Helps minimise the appearance of pores.

I have always purchased either the Natural Collection or Collection 2000 press powder but recently decided to purchase this. As you can see i accidentally smashed one of them, I got to the bottom of the pan and then everything left around the side just smashed...no idea how though. The powder works really well, it lasts along time, i dont think it lasts exactly 5hours though...I suppose with things like this you cant really tell if its still there or not.
Ive used this before on its own with concealer when i ran out of foundation, and it looked horrible you could tell i was just wearing powder. Where as if you put it on over the top of foundation and everything else it looks nicer than on its own.

Max Factor: Smooth Effect Foundation ||Review

 (A very Patriotic background)

Max Factor-Smooth effect foundation in Creamy Ivory 45
Info from packaging: 'Glided on effortlessly for a smooth even finish. Suitable tor sensitive skin. Wont clog pores and is Oil free.

Ive needed a new foundation for a while now and finally brought a new one..im not the one to rush and go and get a new foundation straight away or have another already as a backup.
The foundation i have just finished was the 17 Miracle Matt Foundation. I dont think this was amazing as the website and the packaging made out that it was. After watching a video of someone's everyday make up routine, i saw that they put some foundation onto the back of there hand and warmed it up slightly with there finger, so it would blend into the skin better. After seeing the video i started using the foundation like that and it worked alot better.

But onto this new foundation...I find that doing the same routine with this foundation as i did with the old one works well, the foundation blends in to the skin easily. I only use a small amount to cover my whole face, it covers the imperfections on your skin well, you'd still have to use maybe a concealer under/over it as it doesn't cover everything. I found that the colour of the foundation looks far to light for your skin, but once blended in you cant really tell and still covers things.
The constancy is very liquidy which i like in a foundation, i hate things like foundation that have thick consistency i find that it is alot harder to blend into your skin. I find that the foundation lasts all day, even i hot weather...its been ridiculously hot today i have felt like i was melting...the foundation stayed in place and lasted all day, i was amazed!

Overall this foundation works wonders, it lasts all day and gives really good coverage.
I think this was priced at £7.99 from Boots.

Dip Dyed Purple and Blue Nail art

(Source: Tumblr)

I found this image on Tumblr and thought it would be fun to try and do. Some of the nails turned out fine and some of them look poo!

Steps:
1. Chose the colours that you want to use. I have used Barry M (Blue) Blueberry Ice Cream and (Purple) Berry Ice Cream.
2. At the bottom I used the purple and at the top i used the Blue. It doesn't matter which way around you have the colours as it will still give the same effect. Make sure you stop one of the colours at a certain point to make it look like its faded into the other.
3.Optional. I used a make up sponge and put some of the nail varnish onto it. Slightly tap the sponge slightly on top of the other colour.
4. Again its optional but when it is half dry use a clear top coat on your nails. I found as i did this and was half dry the colours blend together well to add the effect you want.

Lush 'Hello Gorgeous' Gift box

For my birthday i got given a gift box called 'Hello Gorgeous'. I love the way that this came packed, With the colourful packaging around the items it reminded me of a lucky dip, rummaging around to try and find the item.
Inside the leaf on top it says
'Gorgeous bath times, gorgeous showers and gorgeous skin. Use the contents of this gift and guess how you feel...'

The products:
10g Gorgeous trial size facial moisturiser.
Think Pink bath ball ballistic
100g Vanilla Dee-Litebody moisturiser
200g The Comforter Bubble Bar
130g Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

200g The Comforter Bubble Bar:
I love this so much, It is too big so you have to split it in half but half is enough just for one bath. This makes the bath so bubbly and Pink which i love. I love the smell of this it reminds me of Love Heart and Refreshers sweets. I don't really know how to describe and review this apart from I love it, recommend it and would definitely purchase it. This says 'The Comforter Bubble Bar wraps you in a fluffy pink blanket of Blackberry bubbles to keep you safe and warm'

100g Vanilla Dee-Litebody moisturiser:
When the product is in the bottle i cant really smell it, When on the skin it has more of a scent but i don't think that it smells like Vanilla much but there is a very, very, very light scent of it. This makes your skin so soft its really nice, I think that i would definitely consider buying it again. This says its Delightfully soothing, creamily smoothing, vanilla-scented lotion for your body and hands.

10g Gorgeous trial size facial moisturiser:
The smell reminds me of lemon sherbet when it is not on your face but when it is rubbed in the smell reminds me of Mr Sheen which i don't like. When it has been completely moisurised into the skin it makes your skin soft and you cant really smell 'Mr Sheen'. I'm not 100% sure on this i don't think that i would purchase a full bottle of this. This says it Nourishes, protects and rejuvenates your skin. Lasting results for all skin types.

I haven't actually used this yet but the smell is absolutely amazing and i love the colour and detail.
130g Rub Rub Shower Scrub:
Before i got this i had never heard of this product before. The smell is quite floral, even thought it has sea salt in it doesnt smell of it. When the product has been rubbed completely in and been washed off it leaves the skin very soft and the scent lasts a while. The only thing i dont like about it is the colour, the blue looks horrible. I would recomended it and im not sure if i would re purchace it. This says 'Sea salt shower scrub with tropically scented blossoms. Scrubby, cleansing, fresh and even doubles as a shampoo!'
