Primark Haul || Autumn 2014

Its been a while. The last time I went into Primark to buy anything for my self was way back in June and I only brought a couple of tops and this time I only brought one :(  . Primark had a lot of things I really liked and when I tried them on they had a really odd shape or they didnt have my size. I am in desperate need of new tops but I dont want to constantly keep getting band t-shirts or graphic t-shirts. I love my collared shirts and Primark had tones I liked but the majority of them were so sheer, I picked up one I fell in love with not sheer and a perfect autumn colour. Tried it on when I got home, moved my arm gap appears where the buttons do up...oh hey bra, this is going back because it would get on my nerves so much.  I will stop rambling and get on with my haul.
After buying these a couple of weeks ago I now understand why people love them so much, so I picked up another pack. £4
When Primark fist opened in town a couple of months ago I spotted these as I was walking through. I went back a couple of days later to have a look at them properly they had completely vanish. The same thing kept happening when ever I went in, but today I found them hidden away and they became mine.  Rolling Stones PJ bottoms- £8
I had seen these in someone's blog post or video and never thought they would be in my local Primark and when I spotted some Harry Potter t-shirts I found these hidden among them. They are Grey joggers with the Hogwarts logo (cant think of the actual name) and the word hogwarts down one leg. £10
I wear leggings the majority of the time and thought it would be about time I picked up some more of the skinny fit jeans from Primark. £11
Love. £1.50
There was no top that matched the Rolling Stones PJ bottoms so I picked up a plain blue top from the mens section. £2.50

As if I needed another band t-shirt  picked up this baseball styled Ramones t-shirt. I love this because it is different compared to all these other people going around with the normal Ramones t-shirts on.
£8

I hope you have enjoyed this small Primark Haul.

How to make Garibaldi biscuits!

If I had a list of my top 10 favourite biscuits this would be close to the top. I love Garibaldi biscuits!  I fist came across these when I was watching Call the Midwife the episode where Jenny met Alec. Over the weekend I chose to have ago at making them they turned out alot better than expected. Its a bit impossible to find many recipes to make these and I wanted to share mine with you.

What you will need:
110g Self-raising flour
pinch of salt
30g butter
25g caster sugar
2 tablespoons milk
25g currants
1 egg white

The fist thing your going to need to do is pre heat the oven I put mine at 150.

Put the flour, salt and butter into a mixing bowl and rub the butter in until it turns to fine crumbs. If doesn't matter if it still has some bigger crumbs.

Next, add the sugar to the crumbs and after enough milk to mix into a firm dough. After you have made the dough roll it out onto a lightly floured surface. You want to roll it out enough so you can fold it back on itself.

Sprinkle the currants on one half of the dough and then fold the other half of the dough over the top and roll again.  Once you have the desired length cut the dough into a rectangle. (With the cut of dough pieces use it again to create another 2/3)

Line your baking tray with the baking paper and then place the dough on the tray. Once the dough is on the tray lightly dent lines across and down the dough to create the rectangle size biscuit. Brush with a little egg and sprinkle with a little bit of sugar.

Let your biscuits bake in the centre of the oven for 12-15 mins, take them out when they are slightly golden brown around the edge. Leave to cool and cut out the biscuits whilst still warm.

York Cocoa House.

Right now I am sitting listening to I think Radio 2 with according to my brother 'Panda eyes' because I cant stop sneezing! Today me and the mother visited York Cocoa House and I couldn't not take photos there and not do a whole blog post about this place. Its like Heaven! So much Chocolate drinks to choose from, Chocolate cakes....Chocolate everything! I got the Triple Chocolate Brownie with big White and Dark Chocolate buttons on top and a Luxury Hot Chocolate made with real chocolate with handmade marshmallows, Cream and topped with chocolate curls. The drink however was rather sweet but still really nice. If your reading this and ever go to York or you live in York or nearby I highly highly recommend this place.

All aboard the Hogwarts Express.

Me and the Family went away up to York for the weekend and on Saturday we went to the National Railway Museum. I wanted to go her for 3 reasons; 1. Art 2. We hadn't been in a while and 3. I saw recently they had the Hogwart's Express there! YES the actual train from the film! These are just some photos from the day.
We did see the Hogwart's Express but it was being repaired unfortunately, I was hopping to see it outside in all its glory but it doesn't matter I saw it and that's the main point. I also found the Platform 9 3/4 station sign.

Review || L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga Mascara.

It's been a while since I have done a product review, I thought I would start of this years reviews with a new product that has just been released by L'Oreal, The Miss Manga Mascara. ( I was drawn in by the Advert)
The mascara comes in 3 different colours Black, Turquoise and Purple, I picked up the back as I don't like coloured mascaras. L'Oreal says this mascara is meant to add Mega volume on the top and bottom lashes, It has a 360 degree flexible brush and makes your eyes more open.
The mascara formula is quite thick and it can easily clump up after a few coats, this is definitely a lengthening mascara. I don't use mascara on the bottom lashes so I cant tell you if it adds 'Mega Volume' there. The mascara has a cone shaped brush, so it goes from big to smaller at the end. I don't find that the flexible bit on the brush makes any difference when applying the mascara.
Overall I like this mascara, Its light, lasts all day and not bad for £5.99, I don't think I would buy it when it goes back the normal price.
The mascara is available in Boots at £5.99 normally £8.99.
